“IT WAS ODD TO SEE CHINESE FOOD ON THE MENU OF A BRITISH PUB. I TOOK THE LEAP OF FAITH, MOSTLY OUT OF CURIOSITY. I HONESTLY WASNT EXPECTING ANYTHING SPECTACULAR. THE PRESENTATION WAS INCREDIBLE. I LOVED THE SQUARE PLATE. THE PORTION WAS NICE. THE RICE WAS NOT MUSHY OR STARCHY LIKE SOME PLACES IVE BEEN. THE COLORFUL SPRINKLE OF FRESH , CRISP, SHREDDED CARROTS IN CONTRAST TO THE SOFT COOKED ONES GAVE A WONDERFUL CRUNCH. I ORDERED THE SHRIMP VERSION. THEY WERE CRUNCHY ON THE OUTSIDE AND TENDER ON THE INSIDE. THE CHEF ACTUALLY BROUGHT OUR FOOD OUT TO US WHICH IS ALWAYS A NICE TREAT. HE ASKED US IF WE HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE. HE EVEN SAID THAT WE PROBABLY WERENT SURE IF THE FRIED RICE WAS LEGIT. HE SAID THE OWNER WAS BORN IN CHINA AND HAD BROUGHT HER CULINARY EXPERIENCE WITH HER WHEN SHE MOVED HERE. THE ONLY THING I WOULD SUGGEST WOULD BE CHOPSTICKS TO LEGITIMIZE HOW DELICIOUS IT WAS . OUR SERVER WAS A TALL MAN NAMED BRIAN. HE WAS VERY NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE WAS WITTY AND HE HIT IT OFF WITH MY HUSBAND WHO IS ALSO FROM BOSTON. WE JUST MOVED TO THE AREA AND THE PATIO IS INCREDIBLE. COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF, OUR WAITER, THE OWNER WE DIDNT MEET. WE SAW GLIMPSES OF ANOTHER MAN WHO APPEARED TO BE THE OWNER OR MANAGER. HE CAME OVER ONCE AND ASKED US HOW EVERYTHING WAS. HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS TOMMY. IT SEEMED LIKE HE KNEW EVERYONE.
